WELCOME
Stars in the Arts is pleased to announce the launch of a new initiative in the art world! Our mission is to create a vibrant community where Jewish and Israeli artists can come together to support Israel, raise anti-Semitism awareness, foster mutual support, celebrate our Jewishness, and spread love through the transformative power of art.
We are proud to present “Illuminating Voices” at the Satellite Art Show during Miami Basel Art Week, showcasing Jewish and Israeli artists whose works reflect powerful stories, cultural identity, and contemporary expression. This exhibition
brings together a diverse group of creators whose art amplifies resilience, emotion, and creativity on a global stage.

Stars In The Arts Is going to Miami

Ian M. Cohen is our Artist Spotlight!
“Originally from New Jersey, I spent most of my adult life in Manhattan. A former handbag designer, I returned to higher education in 2018 to further my degrees in Jewish learning with a B.A. in Jewish studies, a Master’s in Jewish education, as well as a certification in Israel education in order to address an increasing level of global Antisemitism and a decrease in Jewish literacy within the community. My artwork aims to highlight the Jewish people’s resilience, to act as a counter to forces that try to extinguish our light, as well as to educate. I work in acrylic, mixed media, watercolor, pencil, and photography.”
We’re happy to highlight Ian’s art, which captures the beauty, history, and perseverance of the Jewish people.
Find more of Ian’s work on Instagram @ianmenachemcohen. You can also find some of his pieces for sale at our shop, soon at starsinthearts.com

Our second exhibition featuring the remarkable talent of Israeli and Jewish creatives took place in September 2024. The exhibition centered on the theme of resilience, showcasing works by artists that offered a profound look into the human spirit and the power to overcome adversity.
Stars in the Arts is donating 10% of art sales proceeds to the Israel Emergency Relief Fund through the American Zionist Movement.

“Together” Exhibit
May 16 - Midtown Manhattan
Our first event, "Together", took place on May 16th, 2024, in Manhattan, for one evening only. The exhibit featured Israeli and mostly local Jewish artists. If you would like to help us with our initiative and help us get the next event off the ground please go to our GoFundMe page.
A percentage of art sales on May 16 was donated to Jewish National Fund – USA for their Build Together Campaign, an initiative to rebuild communities in the Israel Envelope.
OUR STORY
This initiative is co-founded by Annette Back and Lilian Kebudi. Annette is a NYC-based fine artist working in mixed media with oils and acrylic. She is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts and is passionate about Women's Rights and Jewish Rights advocating through her artwork. Lilian Kebudi is a NYC-based painter born in Brazil. Since Oct 7th, she shifted her body of work to spread awareness about the hostages, and the shared sentiment of Jews around the world. Lilian recently graduated from Baruch College with a degree in Public Affairs and is interested in building communities and supporting others in the arts field.
Annette and Lilian connected through their shared desire to keep the Jewish artist community supported and safe.
