Miami Application

We’re excited to give our artists the opportunity to show their work at Miami Art Week in December. Application is free. Application does not guarantee acceptance.


Details of THE SATELLITE ART FAIR – Miami Art Week 2025:

Art Fair Dates: December 4th to 7th, 2025


Location: SATELLITE ART FAIR IS LOCATED ON COLLINS AVENUE (NEXT DOOR TO AQUA ART FAIR) CONVENIENTLY A BLOCK FROM UNTITLED ART FAIR & SCOPE.  They are also JUST A 10 MINUTE WALK FROM ART BASEL AT THE CONVENTION CENTER., Miami, Florida, USA


Accepted works: Painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, works on paper (framed, simple white or black frame). All items must be wired/ready to hang.


Participation Sizes and Costs: 

Please note: Commission to Stars In The Arts is 20% per piece sold in case the artist is not on site and does not make their own sale.


Options:

  • Option A: Extra Small, approximately - 12”x12” inch canvas. Fee per artwork: $250 USD.

  • Option B: Small: approximately - 16”x16” inch canvas, Fee per artwork: $500 USD.

  • Option C: Medium: approximately - 20” x 20” inch canvas, Fee per artwork: $650 USD.

  • Option D: Large: approximately - 32” x 32” inch canvas or space, Fee: $800 USD.

  • Option E: Extra Large: approximately - 48” x 48” inch canvas or space, Fee: $950 USD.

Deposit and Full Payment: Artist is responsible for a deposit payment of $250 (opt A & B - 1 piece) or $400 (opt C, D, E) or multiples of A & B by September 20th.


Artists balance is due in full by October 1st, 2025.

Payment instructions will be provided.


Cancelation: If artist decides to withdraw, the deposit is non-refundable. 

If the Artist withdraws from the exhibition after making full payment, any refund of the funds paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit) shall be contingent upon a replacement artist being secured, either by the Artist or by SITA. If no replacement artist is found, excluding the non-refundable deposit, 50% of the remaining balance will be refunded.


Drop Off:

Drop off dates: Dec 2nd, 2025, hours TBD. The Artist is responsible for delivering the artwork during the day of installation. If the artist is unable to make it on that date, the artist must email the curators at starsinthearts18@gmail.com 


Art Removal:

The Artist is responsible for the removal of any unsold art during the breakdown period, evening of Dec 7th. If the artist is unable to remove their art, please email the curators at starsinthearts18@gmail.com 


Transportation and Shipping Responsibilities:

Artists who will be shipping artwork to Miami  to a designated representative should make sure the artwork arrives in Miami with considerable time before the show. 


Packing and shipping charges, insurance costs, other handling expenses, and risk of loss or damage incurred in the delivery of artworks to the venue and removal of artworks from the venue back to its rightful owner is the sole responsibility of the client/artist or assigned representative.


Services included: 

  • installation of the work in the room

  • Sales service and customer attention during the fair days.

  • The artwork will be available on our website priced the same as during the fair, with a gallery commission of 20% in all cases for 1 month after the fair. 

  • De-installation and patching up walls.

  • Booth/Room Insurance only

  • TABS-Pricing stickers

  • Social media sharing graphics and marketing.



Excluded:

  • Shipping artwork to and from Miami. Transportation and shipping costs of transportation of works to and from the fair. Artists are responsible for the cost of shipping unsold works to their respective addresses. 

  • Packing artwork at the conclusion of the show.

  • Artwork insurance

  • Stretching or framing on site in Miami


The exhibition must remain up for the duration of the entire show. Only works approved by Stars in the Arts are allowed. SITA holds the right to adjust the exhibitors display, relocate the display and re-design  the room/booth. SITA and Satellite reserves the right to remove any exhibitor from the exhibition for any reason they deem necessary.
