Chai - Miracles & Treasures, Israel Art Submission

Hello, and thanks for your interest in submitting your artwork for the "Chai" Pop-Up Exhibit & Sale organized by Stars in the Arts. There are many ways you can participate being afar.


*THIS FORM IS FOR ARTISTS LIVING IN ISRAEL ONLY.


*THIS FORM IS TO BE FILLED OUT ON A COMPUTER NOT ON THE PHONE.


We are looking for contemporary, abstract or traditional artwork, any subject great for gifting.


Exhibition/Opening Reception Date: Wed, Dec 18th from 5 pm to 9 pm

Art Drop off: TBD

Art Pick Up: End of the Show (Dec. 18th at 9 pm)

Location: NYC - Midtown (location to be disclosed)

Tickets will be sold for this event; selected artists get a plus one for free.


FEES:

-To support artists who LIVE IN ISRAEL, we are waiving their submission fee and hanging fee.

-Stars In The Arts will retain 25% of the sales price, where a portion will be donated to a Jewish Organization of SITA's choice, and the rest will be allocated to the organizational team. The artist retains 75% of the sales price.


ARTWORK ACCEPTED:

-Open Theme: Contemporary, Abstract, Traditional, or Jewish-Inspired. Any subject that is great for gifting!

-Accepted mediums: Paintings, Mixed Media on Canvas, Framed art on paper, Embellished Prints, Collages, and Photography. Wall Sculptures.

-Artwork Size: Max 24" inches on the largest side.


DEADLINE to submit: Sun, November 24th at 11:59 pm.

US (outside NY) and International Artists *We don't provide mailing service for originals! If you would like to participate but are unable to drop off/pick up physical artwork, you have two options once selected:


  1. Pay for a print to be shipped to NY. Once you are selected, you can order a Giclee canvas print from the site below. Print size required below 24" inches:

    Unsold artwork will be stored in NY and you agree that prints may be used in future exhibits with the possibility for other sales opportunities if/when they occur.


  2. The picture of your artwork will be displayed on a projector during the opening night only. A print out of the artwork with your info will be available to visitors as well as on view on our website. If an interested party would like to purchase your work, they can reach out to you directly to purchase. 


Artist Submission Policy

Review Process: Our team of curators will review all submissions after the submission's closing date and will reach out to selected artists for further discussion. Please follow @starsinthearts on Instagram for updates. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of submissions, we are unable to provide individual feedback on declined submissions.


Liability: Please note that we are not an insured entity. While we are going to be most careful and respectful with your pieces, we will not be responsible for any damages. If this is a concern for you, please insure your work privately.
